I have a dent in my lower shin just above the ankle. It’s about 3” long and 1” high at the widest point. It looks like the muscle is disappearing. It’s always there. Not edema sounding. Weird.

My dent is located just below the calf muscle on the left side of my left leg as it reaches the ankle, and goes up to about 2" to 3". I think it could be a circulation problem and it gets worse as the neuropathy stiffness and pain occurs . Or like you said feels like the muscle is eroding.
