End of chemo not sure where to go next

I'm stage 2 esophageal, just finished 8 weeks chemo, now waiting on CT pet scan to see what's going on, they are pushing surgery, and I am not going that way. chemo wasn't that bad, it had its times, but the worst was hiccups and the last 2 weeks no sense of taste or smell. Texas oncology is the care team, I'm not sure what is coming next. I'm trusting in Jesus for it all to be ok, if it ends the cancer or I go to be with him.

Thanks Gary. My surgery is scheduled for 10/16. I don't look forward to the recovery process, but I look forward to ultimately getting better. I'll reach out as I navigate a rocky journey.

I chose the same path as lions fan and am so glad I did. I’m a year plus out from surgery with no evidence of cancer.

The surgery is a major procedure for sure, but it’s very doable and most likely to result in major success.

Major procedure for major results.

I’m always happy to talk.
