Your personal history (and that of your DNA ancestors) also is a factor. There are risks with any estrogen-type product - and your personal chemistry. For example are you positive for the BRAC 1/2 gene? Have you been tested? Does your mother, her sisters and grandmothers had cancer? Do you need a combo therapy with progesterone/testosterone. How long has it been since you last period? All these things -- plus the TYPE of HRT will be a factor and none of us can answer that sufficiently for your needs.
