@minute22 It takes up a lot of room as I purchased the 30". Between my husband and me, I managed to easily take it on a week's long domestic trip. We stayed in one place. I was glad I had it but I would not have wanted to move around with it. It's just too time consuming and hard to deflate and fold up. The angle I measured was more than what you measured but it wasn't anywhere close to the one I use at home (28-30). Sleeping on a firm pillow on top of it helped elevate the angle. I made certain to stop eating and drinking at least 3 hours before sleep. I packed lots of tums etc.

They recently introduced a smaller travel one but it looks like it sold out. I had just purchased the larger 30" one and then the smaller one came out. You might contact the company to see if any are stock. There's a way to make the inflatables work with lots of extra pillows but it takes some doing.

We have a 2 week trip coming up where we'll be moving around a bit and I am not sure what to do.
