Connect mentor Jennifer supplied the most helpful source for explaining the BEMER therapy. The only information I would like to add is that BEMER will not heal peripheral neuropathy, nor restore balance that is associated with it.
I also was diagnosed with severe carpel tunnel syndrome and by using the BEMER "spot" on my wrists, I now have considerably more strength in my hands. Numbness and tingling are still present at times, but I am so glad for the good amount of restoration of hand strength. In addition, it seems to have returned to me a feeling/sense of well-being, assuming I don't over-do in what I think I can accomplish in a day. That is a constant battle!

@jfn Here is the website for BEMER. I first saw this when a horse therapist was using this on horses to increase circulation.
