To mariegrace and Spider109,
I have had bouts with low sodium with wanting to stay hydrated.
For myself, much like Sue, I increased my intake of salt (I hardly ever salted anything before my diagnosis with BE). I buy salted nuts, seeds and whole grain crackers. I also keep Coconut Water on hand to have, that helps also to keep me hydrated. When I do have low sodium I know because my feet and legs will cramp. Haven't had that happen since I increased the salt intake with all I have been doing I mentioned above. So far it has worked for me.

Hi Barbara,
I always loved salt so use on my food. I do try to limit fluid intake to 1000cc per day and I seem to be stable at 131-132 sodium so see my nephrologist in 6 months.
I was first dx with dilutional hyponatremia about 5 years ago and told to limit water intake. Now they tell me it is SIADH.
Good luck!
