Yes, I am using a new diet to help with my PMR. I was on prednisone since 2021 when I was diagnosed with PMR. This is a quick summary of what I did and am doing to try to stay off. I weaned down to 2-3mg prednisone per day. None of this is advice to anyone else......I learn through reading, ChatGPT (looking up studies) and videos from others.

1. Changed diet - Carnivore diet, now since May - I needed to loose weight......down 35 lbs.
2. High Dose Vitamin D - 30K IU/D for 4 weeks, then back to 10K IU/D - this is where I am right now.
3. Exercise - The gym helps immensely. My shoulders, knees and hips are better now.....remember when you start a weight program.....pulling and pushing weight.....take your time....move up slowly. First month was hell....after that it's amazingly better.

Results - I can lift my arms above my head without wincing. I can lift weights above my head.....I could not do this at all before. My hips quit hurting....shoulders are better by 70%....my left knee still has times but its way better than it was 3 months ago.
I am not out of the woods.....but I have been off prednisone since the start of the year. I almost went back on it when I read about high dose vitamin D. I did not go back on!
I am not sure where I am going, but I have decided to make my own decisions as going on more medications was not the answer for me. I still work every day and I am hoping that in the very near future that this will go away. The results are still amazing to me as I was a hurting unit, it was not just mornings and night....it was a struggle every day!

Thanks for the feedback. It helps. I'm 5.9 and 150 lbs was 162 last month before diet. 74y.o. and stood all my life so both knees shot on inside surfaces. The diet seems to be helping my inflammation so thanks again for the feedback.
