I have been dealing with this long haul covid cough and flem nightmare for two years now. All 5 of my specialists have said the exact same thing to me: come back in 10 years and we might know what to do. I think they think they are being cute, but it is not funny at all. It is a daily nightmare.

The docs are as frustrated by long covid as anyone and they’re just being honest. Barring some unexpected breakthrough, they are a decade from anything like a cure. The research can barely identify why symptoms are occurring let alone how to address them.
