bit of caution re alpha lipoic acid. It fixes mercury out of the body. So, if you have a lot of mercury dental fillings, it can be a problem.

It can pull the mercury out of them...and as it moves that mercury out of the body, it can basically give you a bit of mercury poisoning.

It happened to me. My mouth has been chock full of old mercury fillings.

I did not get horribly sick, just a little off. I did research, found out about the mercury issue and just stopped. And within a couple of days I was fine.

@samcal9977zz Very interesting. I tried alpha lipoic acid (both types mixed and R) but it did almost nothing for my radiculopathy (mimics PN symptoms in feet). Had no problem and I have about 6 or 8 mercury fillings left. Please post a link that shows this effect on amalgam fillings. I have never heard of this.
