I've got my feet in a bucket of cool water as I write this. I'm reading all of your posts on burning feet. Mine started slowly, and it is not every night that the burning starts. I'm trying to journal any and all times that my feet begin heating up; it is always when I am lying prone, watching a show or inactive. Soon as I start to walk or move it disapates until I come to rest again. Also, if I'm having a bad evening, it will be pronounced during the night, as it is now. I'm a healthy 68 year old male, take a statin and baby aspirin for heart, B 12 lozenge, and antihistamine due to a two year bout with itching of the forearms, that stopped with the antihistamine.
But I do feel like it's beginning to snowball.
Thank you!

I wake up at night with burning feet and a few years ago tried something and it worked. I had some left over 5% lidocaine patches from the hospital. I cut one into two pieces and put 1/2 on the bottom of each foot. It helped immediately and by morning my feet were normal. These 5% patches need to be prescribed by your doctor. I hope it helps you.
