Anyone ever tried TCM for chronic constipation?
Anyone ever tried traditional chinese medicine for chronic constipation? Apparently they treat the root cause instead of the symptoms.

Start with 1/2 teas and if that doesn't work, add a bit more. You will have to play with it. A full glass of water.
Smooth Move is fabulous. I drink a cup every evening .
I also take 1 cap of Miralax in juice or yogurt every morning and 1 spoon of sun fiber in my coffee in the am.
Usually keeps everything moving.
I’m also 6 treatments in on Acupuncture! Told it usually takes about 10 treatments to see a change.
I don't know if it's been named yet or not; I could be wrong but I think the discovery of it is new enough that there is no name yet. (If I had to guess, I'd say that stress might be at least one of the factors because it's maybe a glitch in the "flight or fight" reflex, but who knows.)
Thank you for your reply. I'll try and research it.
I’ve been taking Linzess 290 mg for probably five years. It used to work pretty well. I really don’t like taking medication. I’m going through a wellness clinic and a detox program and Linzess just isn’t doing the trick. I drink probably 80 ounces of water a day at least in the morning. I’ve been drinking a glass of warm lemon water and having just a little sip of coffee because it really isn’t on my wellness diet and just have had no luck, anybody else with this problem?
In adding to my above comments, it’s a detox for my gut. We’re trying to get me moving.
Traditional Chinese Medecine.
