Diverticulitis
I am currently being treated for my 3rd episode of diverticulitis, only 8 months from my last episode.
Someone told me that he was plagued with it too but was told to try odorless garlic soft gels every day. He said it has really worked for him. Has anyone else had success with this?

Absolutely sounds best case scenario in what wasn’t! Thankful for your team!!! Makes all the difference… that’s the problem. We never know when it’s going to go haywire.
I’m so glad you’re doing well! That’s a problem. We never know when it’s gonna go haywire and can end up an emergency. I’m trying to avoid that also!
So thankful for your team! It makes all the difference
Glad all going well and you had a good team! Makes all the difference!!!
I’m sorry I repeated myself like four times… It kept looking like it was going to a different conversation 🤪
Is this the diverticulitis group?
Hi, Lois,
I'm new to the group. I have the same problem as you. Had an acute attack of diverticulits with perforation and abscess. I was on a clear liquid diet for a week. I have recently move up to soft foods. My abdomen is swollen and painful with the most pain in my lower back.
I have IBS and try to stick to a low fodmap diet. Most high fiber diets are high fodmap. At this point, I don't know what to eat anymore. I would like to stick with low fodmap, but isn't a high fiber diet recommended for diverticulosis so it doesn't go into diverticulitis?
I'm not sure I am posting correctly. I replied to Lois and it says I have to "post comment"
How do I know if Lois received my reply?

Here is the way to post so that a member will get a notification of your post:
Underneath the post you want to respond to click on the "Reply" button and then post your question or comment in the box that will appear. Also, you can begin your post with their username. For example, look at how I started this post to you, I used your username with the "@" sign in front of it. After you finish your post click on "Reply."
Both of these methods will give the recipient a notification that you have responded to their post.
