So sorry you are suffering like this. My understanding is the EMG test will be normal in the case of peripheral neuropathy that affects the small fibers. Wondering has your doctor mentioned Small Fiber Neuropathy as a possible cause of your pain?
As far as pain relief. Have you tried CBD/THC. I find helpful.

Thank you for caring. Thank you for explaining that EMG does not show small Fiber nerve. My EMG was normal/negative. I cannot do the THC because of my other medicines, ….if that ever showed up in my urine test, they would Take the pain and sleep med. away even though it does so little.
