Anybody get their diagnosis graded by way of a bladder wash?
Anybody get a high grade diagnosis or low grade diagnosis by way of a bladder wash. Then had bladder wash sent in for microscopic look to determine grade of cancer?

63 year old female, initial diagnosis was low grade non-invasive. 2nd opinion at Mayo HGT1. I'm in the middle of my induction BCG treatments which are going well. I have to do an 8 hour round trip for a 15 min treatment due to BCG shortages, but thankful Rochester is within driving distance.
Was your BCG rejection due to reoccurrence after treatment or due to side effects? Thanks for the info as I do my first 3 BCG treatments. How are the gem/doc treatments?
It was due to side effects. I’ve been able to tolerate the gem/doc treatments so far. I hope that you do well on BCG!
Hi guys, just giving you a quick update on my cystoscopy yesterday. She said it looked good. Sending off cytology and will have that back soon. Three more rounds of BCG for me. God Bless all of us with this ugly cancer we are fighting. Peace Love and Prayers for All
Thanks so much for your posts. I'm on the same path just a couple of months behind. It's encouraging to read of others journey. Praying for your continued good news.
Update. Urogram last Thursday showed 8.4 cm malignant mass on right kidney. Seeing a urologist Tuesday but know from report that this is not good. This tumor not connected in any way with the bladder cancer 43 years ago.
