Launica0987, The test often times will still show positive at the doctor's office even after it has been a while since you contracted COVID. I personally question the at home kits. I was told by a medical professional that you are more prone to get a false negative than a false positive with them. There is a nasty virus going around as well right now that is not COVID or the flu.

I tested negative for COVID on day 2 of my symptoms last year and on day 3 I tested positive. I definitely had COVID.

I know the protocol changes for COVID, but, the last I heard it is 5 days quarantine. Please check behind me on this.

@covidstinks2023 I was pleasantly surprised to see a positive result, as I had been working as a nurse around COVID-19 patients and had never contracted the virus. My primary concern is the safety and well-being of my family. I appreciate your kind words and support.
