my GI doctor said take Pepcid 40 mg at night, about 30 years ago but I forgot that, now I am taking 20 mg twice a day, with some success. I forgot about the bland diet so I am paying the price for it now. thanks for reminding me to stay off the good food.

How long were you on PPIs and how did you taper off? I've tried a few times to slowly wean off my PPI and replace it with famotidine (Pepcid), but I always get stomach pain and nausea so have to go back on the PPI.
