I wish had before and after pictures, but before weight loss I avoid having my picture taken.

I had Roux-en-Y , was over 10 years ago and no regrets. Was in hospital 3-4 days if I remember right. Stayed one extra day because very nauseous afterwards.

What to take hospital:
- Obvious - slippers, robe, toothbrush, hairbrush, etc…
- Whatever you wear to hospital you can wear home
- I took crochet project with me for something to do. If read, take book or kindle.
- Phone and CHARGER !
- Maybe notebook and pen to take notes for any instructions, though they usually print out instructions when discharged.
- When go home, have person picking you up bring a pillow. I had 40 minute ride and place pillow over abdomen during drive. You're going to be sore and helps with bumps on road.
- Insurance cards. If have to pick up prescription at hospital pharmacy before leaving.
- Leave any valuables, jewelry, etc at home. Will not need.

Hope that helps and good luck. Let us know how it went next week.

I feel like things went great. Dr had a plan b and had to use it due to my history, but she assures me that it is still in line to help me meet my goals.
I'm feeling some pain and a lot of reflex. They just removed the pain button.. so we will see! I'm a little nervous
