I did not understand that I had Long Covid until about a year ago, when I realized I was having trouble walking. Felt unsteady, muscle weakness, awful fatigue. Finally diagnosed at Mt. Sinai LC Clinic. And just a few days ago realized my forgetfulness is not due to normal aging--it's actually LC Brain Fog. And like many of us, I need to write everything down. I'm collecting a lot of nice pencils, sharpeners, and notebooks (trying to see some humor in all this).

Hi. I’m now 2 1/2 years post my first infection which caused my long Covid. Just this past winter I started taking LDN for my neurological symptoms. You need to take it for at least 6 months to see if it’s helping.
It is helping me. All symptoms though not completely gone are diminished and I am able to live with them. I’ve had 2 more Covid infections since the first, and have gastric issues now I didn’t have after the first and second.
Nausea, great difficulty with
toilet issues. This is an ugly, insidious virus. For many of us, I believe it lurks inside forever. Good luck everyone.

I had Covid in mid May. Experienced so many side effects from it. I’m finally able to eat again but not everything I enjoyed before. Fatigue still with me, brain fog is extremely bad to the point I can’t drive anymore.
Doctors tell me in time I should get better but it could take a year or so.
This is not the way I wanted to live in our retirement but I’m thankful I’m still alive.
I have a calendar and notepads next to my recliner so I can write everything down.
My husband is 80 and is helping me a lot.
I belong to several support groups and so many experienced our same issues after Covid.
Time and more time for us to be better. ❤️
