I was recently diagnosed with gastritis. Alot of things while your in a flare up you can't eat. I was diagnosed through an endoscopy. Does anyone else have this? Not fun at 69 to deal with it

Possibly caused by H. pylori?
If so, it can be controlled by antibiotics.
Stomach disease is mostly cured by self -care. As long as you eat the right food ( balanced, no allergen, clean and easily digestible) , eat at a regular schedule, it will be cured gradually.
I found my stomach discomfort because I always drank cold water in the morning. After I stopped drinking cold water in an empty stomach, my stomachache went away. You can also eat some digestive enzymes, which can help digestion. But try not to eat or drink anything in an empty stomach.
