This last paragraph is where I am with Prolia. It’s been suggested to me for years and I was terrified of side effects. I went with Evenity just over a year ago, also terrified of side effects but I chose to risk those over the other. I did fine with Evenity, sore arms for a day and that was it. I’m willing to at least try Prolia since there’s some evidence it could increase my bone density even a little further than the Evenity did, rather than just maintaining it. If it doesn’t go well, I’ll try other options (Reclast, or back to Fosamax).

Thank you for responding and sharing your experiences. I've read some many published studies on Prolia and Reclast, I'm just exhausted. Like @windyshores stated, there comes a time to just put down the books and close the computer. It is truly draining. I've been focusing my reading on the adverse reactions of Prolia and Reclast. In my opinion, the women who will be taking these drugs are not being told what is happening in the real world. It seems the studies often reflect the same reactions occurring in both the drug group and the placebo group, at about the same percentage. How can that be! Mind you, not all the studies I've read do I see this, but I've seen enough to raise a red flag. My 11th injection of Evenity is tomorrow. I have to make this next drug decision asap.
I had barely any reaction to Evenity - piece of cake. No reaction to Forteo either. But a full dose of Reclast in my tiny little body might be another story!

I too have been on Evenity for a year and I will start Prolia next week for a year to help build more bone density and then on to reclast . I was terrified to start Evenity and now the same with Prolia . It’s another journey and hopefully it will be Ok .
