@pb50

So i have a tip that has been a surprising miracle for me in terms of stomach and intentional gas.

Every morning i have one cup of black coffee. I will be dead before i let go of my cuban coffee 🙂 But after that cup, around mid morning, i steep 2’teabags of organic ginger tea sweetened with a heaping teaspoon of manuka honey. It too has reported anti GI Inflammation properties. Dreadfully expensive stuff from new Zealand - so give a good Local honey a try first. After that first cup, i throttle back to single tea bags and local honey and i sip at it all day, so all in all I am drinking about 3 Cups a day. No belching (or the other end🙄 ) any more.

Heres the tea i drink. Im sure any genuine robust ginger tea is good, but avoid the grocer versions

I get mine from amazon. If you want the link let me know

Good luck!

Appreciated.

What I also deal with is EPI and have to eat (or try) 2,000 calories per day. At times, what I eat may not digest quickly enuff to allow me to pile more (500-600?) calories on top my morning smoothie or earlier meals so I am in a sticky situation. (no pun intended) unless I wake up @ 5Am and try to eat every 4 or so hours so I can digest all those calories before adding more to what remains of the prior ones.

I asked the gastro if a SIBO test would be worth taking as I did get to 150lbs from 144 tho it took quite a while, and he said the test might be worth taking so I am now involved with that.

Ginger has been somewhat an aid to me, even raw ginger, tho I am thinking a good cup of black coffee in the AM might be another worthy consideration esp if taken with magnesium.

There is a local honey maker in the area (Stakich) and his honey is unbelievably awesome and popular so I may include your method in my efforts after I get thru this SIBO routine.

(This EPI 'diet' of pounding calories into my body is hard to take with so many calories per day being necessary.)

I also thot I might look for a nutritionist in the near future but the Dr stresses calories primarily, with the daily Creon, to see if I can gain weight.
