I pray to God that He would help you rest.

It's understandable you want to be there, for him, just in case. Maybe, just maybe, you could let some other people into you two's life. You need to rest while God is slowly taking him Home. It's a very trying time. My husband has been dying since 1976. I knew a woman whose husband was dying for 20 years, and she took care of him. But she also had a son and daughter-in-law to help her. When her husband finally passed, she still carried on with all that there was to do. Then in Bible study one day, she just collapsed. What better place to do it? We had a wise woman leading us, so we carried her to a couch (it was at someone's home) and laid her there to sleep. When she got up, she was fine. I've always been glad of her example. Trust the same God you ask us to pray to, to carry you too, through. He's not the only one who needs our prayers. God bless.

Thank you for the kind words! You are right. I needed rest just like that lady did that you mentioned. We were almost to the point of getting help with hospice when my husband died. I miss him terribly but I'm so glad that he's up in Heaven now with God and Jesus and our loved ones. I pray a lot to God to help me get through this difficult time and he has. I have encountered a lot of very nice people that have helped me; not charging me for services, or fees, the neighbor taking me to my eye appt. (I can't drive with drops in my eyes.) and even the guy who runs the gas station showing me how to correctly put gas in my car and telling me, "Anytime you have problems you just come in here. We'll help you!" I've always been terrible at putting my own gas in my car! But I'm getting better with his help.
I could still use your prayers to help me continue to get through this difficult and lonely time.
Thank you so much!
