Dexascan Reports

Hello all! Does anyone know where the machine number is located on the Dexascan. I am told you should always have your test done on the same machine to prevent errors.

Just go back to same facility every two years for your dexa. They usually just maintain and upgrade machine so it is still same machine. You should be fine with revisiting same equipment. I am an x-ray tech.

I'd imagine reports from different facilities will look different in terms of layout and details. The "Scan Information" on my report shows the model of the machine with a serial number, as well as the initials of the operator.

Your technician should be the one worrying about that - and recording that along with your scan results. (Unless you’re the technician.)
