It sounds a lot like Akathisia, a terrifying movement disorder, often caused by an adverse drug reaction. The antidote is usually Ativan or Clonazepam. For some people, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) works well as an antidote. However, for me, personally, diphenhydramine multiples the intensity of Akathisia one hundred times over. Only Ativan or Clonazepam works as an antidote for me. Unfortunately for some people, this horrible adverse reaction to a medication never goes away, rendering the sufferer unable to work or do anything at all actually. The constant need to move, the sheer exhaustion it causes, & the hideous feeling of knowing that you can't stop moving is combined with a horrible unexplainable overwhelming mental vortex of agony that sucks you into a special place of hell on Earth.
