I had an air leak and was in the hospital for 9 days instead of the planned 3. It was very upsetting but all is fine now. I didn't have any additional problems due to the leak.
I had an ULL removal in October 2023. Came home with my chest tube due to air leak after 5 days in the hospital. Kept it in another 5 days at home. I was Stage 1b going in to surgery and 3a coming out due to one lymph node. No chemo, but I did radiation to a ground glass nodule on my right lung. This was because after the lymph node, they decided to treat that like cancer even though it couldn’t be biopsied. Now I take TKI. Coming up on 1 year soon. I’m back to normal life activity after my pity party that lasted until 3 weeks ago. We don’t know what the future holds but we can own the present. Wishing you a speedy recovery. ❤️
