While I'm no M.D., I'll suggest you follow the counsel of my good friend who is a Nurse Practitioner: She would suggest you get your hematocrit checked; well that is what she has told me in the past.

I agree. Some supplements for things are not going to hurt you for the most part but because some of these things are over-the-counter, doesn’t mean that they can’t hurt you. I would recommend that the doctor knows that you’re taking an iron product or B12 product. My sister and my mother are low on B12 so I had my doctor do a B12 level on me recently And I am OK and don’t need to take it. In some cases too much of some thing can be just as bad as not enough. I am in the medical field And I check everything. It’s easy enough to get blood work. It does not require more than that. Good luck to all of you!🙏
