Anyone also have long covid?
A year and a half sick. Looking to find a clinic for treatment. I can’t work. I was debilitated for 5 months, got 75% better for about a year, and I’m sick again. My fatigue is overwhelming, difficult to breathe, I’m on metropolol now to regulate my racing heart.
My life is unrecognizable. I don’t know what to do.

I'm sorry this happened to you, captainkp. There are some new discoveries offering "cautious hope." You might find a clinical trial.

bless your struggle with luck
captainkp, I am so sorry. I too have Long COVID. I have found it takes time to get better. I am on a lot of supplements. It took a while to see they were helping. The fatigue & brain fog have gotten better, but, are not gone.
Is there an Integrative Medicine Doctor (Eastern Medicine) or a COVID Recovery Clinic in your area? Both can be of great help to a lot of people.
I have been to the cardiologist 3 times since my first onset with COVID due to palpitations and high heart rate. I am grateful that my heart is fine. It took it a while to calm down. I still battle palpitations....this could also come from my thyroid issues. COVID definitely made the palpitations worse.
Long COVID is very tiring and I have had to learn to pace myself. It's been 2 years since the 1st bout of COVID and 10 months since the 2nd onset. I pray I do not get this horrible virus again. It has left me with chronic asthma, more prone to asthmatic bronchitis and pneumonia now.
Praying for you right now. Don't give up hope. I found it just takes time to get better. Prayers & Blessings....
I too had long covid for a period is 2.5 years. It was debilitating. I have severe burning mouth syndrome and migraine headaches along with shortness of breath etc.
I went to Brigham’s & Women's in Boston, Ma hospital who had a long covid program. You can call to see if they are still doing it?
They ran a gamut of testing and I saw many specialists. This is one of the top hospitals in the world next to Mass General. Good luck! I wish all the best to you.
I have been sick with LC for two and a half years. My condition is still worsening. My issues are loss of hearing, disrupted vision and balance, and digestive problems. I go to an Integrative medical group, but have not had much success with treatment.
It does seem that most people, over time have some improvement, so far not true for me.
I try to remain hopeful that at some point I will regain some of my health.
I have eliminated all possibilities except long term COVID. I have had many symptoms for 14 months. An urgent care doctor told me off record that it was do to artificial spiked protein in COVID vaccines. If you had multiple shots it could be that. There is research confirming it. Check it out.He recommended taking Nattokinase about 4000 mg a day. It is available on Amazon. It is all natural and no side effects. He said take it up to three months. If no improvement just stop. I discussed it with my pcp and she said most doctors believe privately the spiked protein theory for long term covid but won’t discuss it publicly because of the vaccine shot issue. Also, Nayo, NY hospitals and Yale gave long term COVID clinics
Thank you! Yes, there is an integrative medicine clinic in Northampton, MA. They don’t treat “long covid” but I learned the lingo, and they do treat fatigue, pulse irregularities, etc etc.
It’s my next stop.
captainkp, I'm praying they will be able to help you. Sometimes, its takes someone that can "think outside the box". Keep us posted on your progress. Blessings & Hopeful for you,
