Wow you are one lucky person that you are able to tell us about a C1 fracture. Unlucky that you had an accident but blessed that you are apparently stable and able to talk next steps.
So tell me about your current status .. are you in a neck brace or did you have surgery to stabilize the fracture? Like a fusion to c2?

Just fractured my C1--fell backwards down 15 steps--no surgery, just neck brace-on now for 4 weeks will have to get CT scan- maybe able to take it off after 8 wks--CT SCAN WILL DETERMINE THAT--HAD WEAK LEFT LEG, COULDN'T MOVE IT THAT'S WHY I FELL--one thing that helped my back was a pill called Gabapentin, I now have no pain, hopefully forever--have lots of Stenosis, arthritis-thanking God could have been worse!
