Expert Trainings on Osteoporosis
I want to make everyone aware of a training that happened earlier this month called the 24th Annual Santa Fe Bone Symposium. Presenters included the biggest names in osteoporosis including Dr. John Bilezikian, Dr. Michael McClung, and Dr. Bente Langdahl. These are the top doctors training other doctors. Unlike other big trainings, these are recorded and posted for everyone to see. They even have past years posted.
Here is a list of this year’s presentations. You can find them here https://www.ofnm.org/santa-fe-bone-symposium/
• Update on clinical uses of osteoanabolic agents
• Management of patients discontinuing denosumab
• Estrogen and testosterone in the management of osteoporosis
• Osteoporosis treatment in the very old
• Treat-to-target for osteoporosis
• Overview of rare bone diseases
• Bone health optimization for orthopedic surgery
• Osteoporosis drugs and cardiovascular diseases
• Case presentations and panel discussion
Enjoy!

Great information. I watched the estrogen and testosterone in management of osteoporosis I hope it helps guide my next steps after taking tamoxifen, with agonist estrogen effects in my bones, and Reclast.
Yes! Been watching these videos for as long as they have been posted on YT.
I watched the first one by Dr. John B. and some of the questions that have come up on this forum were answered, and some were responded to with "we don't know." I will watch one video per night for 11 nights! Thanks Michael.
Thank you.
Well, the video is only available to those who participated in the live event. I was not even aware that it happened.
I was able to access the presentations. Try again?
to @gravity3.
Thanks, I shall try.
@melia7 there is a list of presentation on the left, and I am watching them one by one. They were a little hard to see when I first went on.
@windyshores
Thank you! I have managed to follow one of the lectures that I needed. But surely, all lectures are important and timely. It was useful information.
The last presentation "Case presentations and panel discussion" is an open forum with a lot of good questions answered. Be sure to listen to that one as well.
