Hi! Yes I just got the results and they said it’s benign heterogeneous glandular tissue (not really sure what that means, lol) , but nothing to worry about!
Thanks for thinking about me!!
I am 10 years out (Stage 4 mets bones) and still going strong. I take Anastrazole and have taken it every day since 2014. According to my oncologist, I will take it for the rest of my life or until it quits working. I have had no recurrence.

That’s wonderful news! So absolutely nothing to worry about:). Just curious, are you on any type of AI or tamoxifen? I just started tamoxifen about a month ago and was wondering. Thanks!

Aww ok I see. Makes sense to switch then. How long were you on tamoxifen so far? Did you get any side effects? I started with 20 mg the standard dose but got some pretty annoying cramps like a week and a half into treatment. My oncologist told me to cut the pill in half and do 10mg everyday instead. So far I did not have as much cramping so I hope that dose will work for me moving forward.

I started it about 7 months ago and it’s been pretty rough. It makes me really moody (depression, irritability, anxiety) and major brain fog! I also have dry eyes and sometimes get Charley horse type pain on my toes/feet. I take 20mg per day.

Aww that stinks! It seems everyone’s side effects vary so much with this medication. One last question, do you still get your menstrual cycle? I am hoping mine stops . But so far it has not. It’s only been two minths though.
@christylv
When I first started taking it I noticed my periods were lighter and shorter, but then I had a couple months where I had it twice a month and that was when I went to see the gynecologist and then ended up having the full hysterectomy.
So it seemed like it was going away, but then it started becoming irregular.

Yes I am on Tamoxifen but I recently had a total hysterectomy so I believe I will be switching to an A1 soon.
