There is a book called K2 and the calcium paradox. Good
Also I recently got K2: The missing nutrient for heart and bone health by Dennis Goodman, MD. Thin book , easy to read and simple directives.
K2 as MK7 was preferred due to it being longer half life.

Thanks I will read that!
MK4 seems to require a much higher dose to be effective, which seems cost prohibitive and not practical.
Plus can you imagine having to eat 10 grams of fat with each dose of MK4? Lol!

My General Practitioner and Cancer Clinic Dr. Suggest D3 and K2 for overall health benefits. I am terrified of the fracture risk from taking meds to strengthen my bones!

You need K2 MK4 for bone building. It is true K2 MK4 does not stay in the body as long as K2MK7, that does not mean K2 MK4 isn't superior in building bone. the Japanese has prescribed K2 MK4 and MK7 since 1995. The trick is that K2 MK4 is taken 3x a day at the dose of 15mg. This is taken in conjunction with Calcium and D3. Build Better Bones explains dosage and why it works.
