Transitioning… hrt… saved my life. Life actually feels good now. I take a weekly injection of estrogen that I administer myself, along with nightly progesterone pills. So many changes… and love 💕 them all. One unexpected but very nice change…. Progesterone rewires your brain. Changes how you think, react… everything. I call it my super power. I know both male and female perspectives, desires, etc… I have an incredible B.S. detector now. Lol

That's the amazing thing about organic chemistry. The hormones have a wide-ranging impact on the human body. I'm constantly surprised at my changes in thinking and processing information. Since adding progesterone back in April, I've noticed a very pleasant calming effect rather than the anxiety that would surface from time to time. Estrogen has clearly had an impact, resulting in an emotional and mental clarity that had escaped me all these years. Though the primary goal of the progesterone was enhanced breast development, the calming nature is a wonderful side benefit.
