Got the OKAY for my PSMA PET SCAN

WOW great day today (8/16/25) BCBS Advantage plan called me and approved the PSMA PET SCAN…. YEA!!!! After 7 weeks of telephone calls, 38 calls to be exact it’s a go. Should get the schedule on Monday. I really got great advice from the group here and I’m grateful for all the replies and encouragement. Now I need to get a good report, like NO additional prostate cancer found in “other” areas. So far we know it’s in the seminal vesicles as well as the prostate. I’ll let you know the results when I get the PSMA. Oh, today just happens to be my birthday so the call from Blue Cross was the best gift.. God Bless all of you. Ken
