I am able to eat very soft food. Mashed vegetables etc, I can eat ice cream, yogurt, custard, jellies ete . I take all my medications orally.
I take multivitamins and are looking into B12 injections.

Hi, @pain3relief - I noted you talked about a gastrectomy and post-op eating, including very soft food. Overall, as you look back, I wondered how things went with your gastrectomy recovery period? How are you doing now?

I read your post .. I can not eat dairy products, beef, starchy foods but I did find out at Publix’s they Carry a icecream made from coconut milk.. they are really very good … if anyone has this type surgery they can live normal lives they just have to compromise on substituting other related foods for what they use to eat..
