I've had long COVID and also, preceding the long-COVID, essential tremor. My hands shake and writing is difficult. A hand therapist (PT) to whom I was referred suggested I put weights on a pen. I have found that is a great help. I found stick-on tire (wheel) weights (Amazon), each weighing one ounce. I find 4 weights (4 ounces total) helps a great deal. I have one pen with weights on it that I carry in my purse (makes my purse 4 oz. heavier) and one here at my desk.

Interestingly, nobody has asked me why I use such a strange looking pen! I put two ounces on each side of the pen. Put one end of the weights close to the top of the pen; if they are put too low on the pen, you won't be able to see the point. You will likely lose the ability to clip the pen to something. Good luck.
