I hear you on stomach things--mine started with ulcers and that's how I had to have 3/4's of my stomach removed and then the gall bladder removal. I should have said suppository--not capsule -- but sometimes I just can't think of the right word (I too am old--80). I thought of cutting the that in half--but when I take them out of the freezer I have like 2 minutes to get it out of the package and into where it goes as it starts to melt. The burning was in my stomach and I popped a omeprazole and ate and felt much better so I guess I just have to let my system get used to it.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues like this. I am on Creon due to my pancreas not creating enough enzymes, and both the disorder and medicine resulted in occasional severe IBS issues of both diarrhea and constipation. I tried some over the counter probiotics in pill form, as it allegedly helped someone I know that is also on Creon.
May I ask what kind of probiotics you take as a suppository? And was this through a prescription from a doctor, or did you decide to do this as suggested by someone else?

I hope this is not too nosey, I am just concerned to have so many issues with nutrition since my late 40s, and I am 54 now. Hopefully I can get a better grip on the symptoms in order to stay healthier as I age, and I am open to trying something so long as it doesn't exacerbate my IBS issues.
