Glucose becoming more elevated

What can I say? Over 50 years I’ve always kept it refrigerated. Perhaps the difference is that I had a pancreas transplant in 2005. I barely use any insulin in the pump. The minimum is 85 units for 3 days. I average about 100 - 120 units for 3 days. One vial of insulin lasts a looooong time. So I try to keep it as fresh as possible.

@cehunt57 I Just didn't want anyone who handles insulin the way my daughter does, to be alarmed. It does sound like you are a special case. My daughter is very responsible and has excellent control and has never had a problem with insulin. She doesn't use a lot but probably less than you!

Of course with the summer we have had in the Northeast this year, maybe she is keeping it cool 🙂

When you go out for the day, do you keep the insulin in a cool pack?
