@cehunt57 in 30 year my daughter has never refrigerated the vial of insulin currently in use (she is also on the pump).

What can I say? Over 50 years I’ve always kept it refrigerated. Perhaps the difference is that I had a pancreas transplant in 2005. I barely use any insulin in the pump. The minimum is 85 units for 3 days. I average about 100 - 120 units for 3 days. One vial of insulin lasts a looooong time. So I try to keep it as fresh as possible.
