Multiple spinal fractures

My xray shows multiple spinal fractures. Is this osteoporosis? Had bone density scan last year and it was clear

@eiffeljacques, others will weigh in, but my understanding is that once you fracture you are considered to have osteoporosis regardless of what the DEXA shows. When you say it was "clear," do you mean you had "normal" bone density? Osteopenia?

My dexas also showed normal to mild osteopenia. But after three fractures within a year, my bone specialist said that while the dexa showed adequate bone density, it does not measure bone quality.

The fractures were indicative of osteoporosis, regardless of my dexa score.

He put me on Evenity to build better quality bone.

First I’m not sure how X-rays revealed the fractures when my orthopedic surgeon did X-rays every month following three burst compression fractures and clearly said that X-rays will not show the bones or fractures at all but only the compression of the vertebrae. If no further compression after four months then they could safely say all my fractures or broken bones were healed completely.
