My guilty pleasure is 80s synth-pop songs. Kate Bush and Thomas Dolby were the masters. I also like David Bowie, The Beatles, Tori Amos and Bronski Beat (first album).

I also really like old jazz like Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" and "B*tches Brew" as well as John Coltrane.

Went through a progressive rock phase where I really liked Yes a lot. Don't listen to them much now.

I'm a HUGE Joni Mitchell fan and like everything from Blue onward. Not a huge fan of her first couple albums but they were OK. Court and Spark and Hissing of Summer Lawns are two of my all time favorites. In that same vein, I like Neil Young a lot, both his solo work and his work with CSNY.

For more contemporary artists, I really like Lana Del Rey, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Steven Wilson, R.E.M. (though they broke up), and Ghost.

For classical, Vaughan Williams is my favorite. I love London and The Lark Ascending. Also a big fan of Bach and other really ancient music like Gothic and Renaissance-era.

I'm an amateur music mixer/producer and my tastes are all over the map. I also write some original songs here and there.
