Hi Gary, One of the best talks I've heard that was uplifting and positive was by Dr. Amit Sood. He has a website with many resources including books and videos - https://www.amitsood.com/. Here is his TED Talk -
Happy Brain: How to Overcome Our Neural Predispositions to Suffering
Thank you.
My go-to book for guidance and strength is the Bible. Amazing how it brings calm and peace.
Check out “The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale. Usually Amazon shows you the table of contents and provides a sample of the book. I found it really motivational. It’s an oldie but goodie best seller.
From the back cover: You’ll learn how to expect the best and get it, break the worry habit and achieve a relaxed life, improve your relationships, assume control over your circumstances, be kind to yourself and more.
I also like the semi-monthly magazine he started called Guideposts. It always has inspirational stories.

@gmoore36 I have different types of motivational books that I read. Are you looking for something specific? A book that soothes how you are feeling? Or a book that helps you with communication with loved ones?
Helen, a book that fills me with hope, to stay organized, to greet each day with an optimistic outlook, to live the best life I can, maybe a book of stories of success in living with and overcoming challenges.
Kind regards,
Check out Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Full of inspirational stories. Find one with a subject/title that appeals to you. Amazon.
