My lung cancer was discovered during a PSMA scan, after my prostate biopsy showed 6 out of 12 samples positive for adenocarcinoma. I had no lung symptoms and it was pure "luck" it was discovered early. There was spread out of prostate and had it removed in January of 2023. PSA has been undetectable since.

Three months later, I had my right lower lung lobe removed as well. Clear margins and no lymph node involvement

So far, so good on both

Good to know it was timely detected and that you are doing well. My husband had a regular CT scan in which the Kidney RCC was discovered. He has had his kidney removed just last week. When we asked for a PSMA scan, the surgeon told us that once he has had his prostrate surgery than he will send for a PSMA scan.
Was your PSMA scan done before or after your prostate surgery, i am assuming you went the surgery route vs. radiation.
