I have an appointment this week in interventional Radiology with a doctor that reads my recent MRI and goes over my record to see if I qualify for a surgery that cuts the nerve that sends the pain signal to your brain. I've had 3 back surgeries in three months 20 years ago and have lived with that pain everyday since. Opioids are no longer something I can take because of all the problems they have created in my body after years of being on them so now something new to try after trying everything else even nerve ablation which is a lengthy process. Nothing has worked so I am looking at this with baited breath hoping for small miracle. I would like to know if anyone out there has had this done and what were the results??
Please do all the research before! Some SCS work, mine did NOT & I had it removed. I’d recommend strongly talking to your cardiologist before making any decisions!
