But, it’s a case of you still want to follow the discussion but a member is offensive or inappropriate. Monitoring a discussion board or FB group, or dating apps is an ongoing job!! Whew!!

Hi @gingerbear22. Again, if there is an inappropriate or offensive member comment, please report it so that the message can be evaluated by a moderator. If there’s any doubt you can also just let one of the mentors in any support group know and we’ll report it for you.

Mayo Connect is unique in the world of social media. It is carefully monitored by mentors and moderators to ensure that everyone follows our community guidelines. We want members to feel free to discuss their medical issues without judgment or criticism.
But sometimes we miss some conversations and if that’s the case we also rely on members to report the offensive replies. So you an help us keep this forum safe. ☺️
