Thank you Colleen!

Things are evolving rapidly, it feels as if its a nightmare that i am hoping to wake up from. i have renowned appreciation for "Life is a cruel joke". I dont want to bring people down with these comments, we are staying very positive, keeping strong, we will give it all we have and pray for the best!

As for the appointment with the surgeon - we were told that due to the location of the growth, he will need to remove the whole right kidney. The surgery was initially scheduled for end of October, but late Friday we were told there was a cancellation for this Wednesday, we took it and now preparing for it. Maybe, its a blessing in disguise, we dont have a lot of time to react, just get it over with. So, no time for a second opinion at least on this matter, but for the prostate cancer, once this is behind us, we might seek one.
This is the first time my husband will have surgery, so a lot of unknowns, this forum does help a lot, thank you for responding and thank you for inquiring about the appointment! appreciate it!
