Anyone had pancreatic whipple surgery with a portal vein resection?

Posted by cpill @cpill, Jun 6 12:52am

My husband had a failed Whipple surgery due to the cancer being wrapped around the portal artery. We are now at Vanderbilt and planning on trying again but also removing the artery along with the Whipple. Just wondering if anyone has had this type of surgery
