I am 5.5 years out from lumpectomy, an infection in lymp removal site, and radiation. I have a noticeable swelling in the armpit and under my breast with some trunk and left arm lymphatic congestion. I have noticed my breast getting more lumps. The radiologist always mentions fibrocystic breast. I found a significant lump in my other breast and after lots of frustration on my part of not getting a clear answer of what it is I had an ultrasound that identifies as a normal appearing lymph node. Hope that helps you to have some peace as you await your test.
