WOW! That makes much so much sense - my level of 50 was from the week before I started treatment! Thank you so much for passing this important Vitamin D information along. It seems this would be one of the first things TYMLOS users should be told. I will continue to take 3000-5000 IU to be sure to keep my D in range.

@esb13 everyone's body is different so I just wanted to post that I did 3,000 units of D3 when I normally do 1,000-2,000 depending on the season. I hope your doctor does testing so you can determine best dose. For me, 5,000 units would be too high. Various things can affect aborption. I was grateful for periodic testing that let me know I was on the right track. I believe 80 is too high so I was concerned with the D3 started rising from low 50's after I stopped Tymlos!
