Atelectasis, the collapse of part or all of a lung, is caused by a blockage of the air passages (bronchus or bronchioles) or by pressure on the lung. I'm using an Aerobika, but due to mucus issues, also have started nebulized NAC and saline. I'm not sure how long things take to resolve, but I can certainly feel things moving around in there so I'm feeling hopeful.
