Me too! My hair started thinning on top but now is thinning all over. The prolia has increased my bone density 9% in my spine after 2 years so I am reluctant to go off of it yet. I am 69 and healthy otherwise. Prolia is the only change in the last 2 years and I have no family history of hair loss. I can’t find much in the literature about prolia and hair loss. In one study a couple of Asian women had hair loss but it grew back when they went off of it. 🤷‍♀️

Hello @danaso1989 and welcome to Mayo Connect. I appreciate you sharing your experience with Prolia. It must be gratifying to see a 9% increase in the bone density of your spine.

I'm wondering if you have had any other side effects other than the hair loss. Is Prolia the only medication you have used for osteoporosis?
